Lock Down Love

Ideally, my day starts with folding blankets

Carefully tucking away my opinions In closet of life

Cooking three plus meals for home locked families

Along with being cooked by them

with prejudice and judgment

Cleaning the mess of square rectangular clutters

Endless patience is inherited courtesy

patriarchy and conditional living

Of being a woman and proving it again and again

The whole world came to a standstill

In capsuled social isolation

A caged bird is always socially isolated

Either self-chosen or culturally given

I am socially isolated from my peers, family and circle

Brain became numb with routine chores

I existed as a wallflower of mundane

Isolated from happenings and non-happenings

My absence missed and presence taken for granted

Not a novice to these socials or isolations

I live in a strange divided world

Worshipped continuously, loved conveniently

and respected rarely…!!

I am looking forward to the lifting of lockdown

So as to set in order

Puddles of frustration scattered around home

Like discarded cloths and values…!!

Muddled relationships like a twine of a thorny garden

Let me gather the strength from within

In silence and isolation… naturally and organically

Let me love this physical lockdown

Let me pity and forgive locked down minds and attitudes

I have arranged this home and wandering minds

Too many times that I lost count of free counseling sessions

Again, I think I will have to arrange my home…

Again, we have to arrange our behavior in line with nature…

To save from the wrath of mother and mother earth…!!
