In rigour
It couldn’t catch a break
It was the raging storm inside her.
Winds within blew faster
She ran further with renewed vigour.
Tried to control the damages within and out
She was in frantic search of a place safer.
The storm however was detrimental
To wreak havoc at a scale further.
Yet she tried to bring her mind to calm
The more it swept away from her inner.
She finally gave in to herself, and storm broke out
To her goal for seeking justice, she got closer.
Defying all prying eyes of delayed justice
The monstrous rain poured down in rigour.

A farewell note
A million-dollar smile
A billion-dollar grace
A figurine so slender
Mirror smiles in grace.
Obsessed with self-charm
Her world turns upside down
She moves with her vanity
She’s the talk of the town.
Though lives run faster than water
She is static with her imagery
Confined in walls of self-love
She imagines herself to a poetry.
This is one side of the coin
The other is here to come
Beauty took her prime seat
Now it’s the brain’s turn.
No time to take a look at self
No mirror is her companion
A shaft of light from the stars
Her selfless heart is a canyon.
Drowned in benevolence
She’s as busy as a bee
Happy to be a helping hand
She’s an all giving wisdom tree.
She’s fiery as clear as water
Her day ‘n night run with her mobility
Soul kindred with kindness
Raises her with nobility.
This is other side of the coin
Marked with welcome altruism
Song of narcissism comes to end
Here’s a farewell note to egoism.
