Poem No. 1
TREAD GENTLY
Misty mornings are happy happenings.
Dews plead
‘Touch me not’
Their somnolence
cannot be disgorged.
I tread gently
lest they be dislodged…
The sky with starry airs
like an embroidered canopy
diffuses its ethereal moonscape ….
Flowers fuse profusel
in their fulsome fragrance ;
pollen grains synthesise
a sweet swollen syndrome ..
Nature in splendid attire..
What a seamless scene…
Have never ever gauge
such awesome sheen,
I tread gently,
dare not dislodge….
Poem No.2 :
OTHER SIDE OF RAIN
She woke to the birdsong, still blushing
From the aftermath of midnight rain
Her dreamy eyelids quivered to the breeze
Carrying monsoon’s mellifluous strain
She wanted to own the dawn for once
Own everything; the sparkling dews,
Remnant drizzle, undulant space
Of this joyful moment that toyed with her bliss…
***
She raised her head, flowers from her window
Beseeched her; petals did not let her go
Leaves did bend a bit to get to her vision
She knew this dreamy phase was a cushion
She could wrap it on, lap it on for a while
Till the other side of the rain would silence her smile..
OTHER SIDE OF RAIN
